What is LED?

LED (Light Emitting Diode) is a semi-conductor chip that emits light(photons) when electric current is passed through it. LED technology, also known as Solid State Lighting (SSL) referring to the fact that light is produced from a solid object (semi-conductor) rather than in a vacuum or gas tube, is poised to revolutionize the way the world creates light. Recent advancements in LED have made this technology ready and available to replace outdated fluorescent, incandescent and neon. LED life span is over 100,000 hours.

 

Are those LED T8/10 Retrofits qualified to any government or local power company’s incentive programs?

Yes. Our LED T8/10 Retrofits are high efficient energy saving products. Incentives come from Federal government, provincial government, and Toronto city. Why LED Daylight Lamp needs to get cULus approved?

 

1 .UL (http://www.ul.com) is the trusted resource across the globe for product safety certification and compliance solutions. Any LED light connects directly with AC 110-120 or AC200-240 must get UL or CSA approved to ensure its safety. It is bylaw that not-approved LED lights should not be sold. Insurance company will not cover any damages due to use of not-approved lights.

 

2. cULus is an approval that meets both UL and CSA ( www.csa.ca) standards. Any product bears cULus mark could be sold both in USA and Canada.

 

What is the warranty?

We supply 3 years warranty. Extended warranty available under circumstances.

 

Lease to own available?

Yes, we supply least to own program. 3-6 months no payment no interest. Certain conditions apply.
